About Pompla
Last updated 21 September 2026
You can book a flight, a hotel, a train or a movie ticket in a couple of minutes. But if you want to join a group trip — a trek, a weekend in the hills, a week in Spiti — you're usually back in Instagram DMs, asking eight different operators what's leaving, what it costs and what's actually included.
Pompla fixes that. Pick the dates you can actually travel, and see the fixed-departure trips leaving on those dates from independent tour operators, side by side — with the price, the itinerary, what's included and what isn't, and the cancellation policy, before you pay anything. Then book in one place.
Our goal is simple: to make group travel in India a bit more organised.
How it works
- Pick your dates. Any dates, not just weekends.
- Compare what's leaving. Real departures from real operators, with the details that usually take a dozen messages to find.
- Book your seat. Pay securely online. Many trips welcome solo travellers, so you don't need a group to go.
Who runs the trips
Pompla is not a tour operator. Every trip on the site is run by the independent operator named on its page — they provide the transport, stays, guides and everything on the ground. We list their departures, take your booking and payment, send you the details you need before you go, and handle refunds we owe you. The terms of use set out exactly who is responsible for what.
What "verified" means here
We only mark an operator as verified when we've spoken to a named person at the business, seen evidence that they have actually run the trips they list, and confirmed their contact and payout details. It's a deliberately modest bar, and we'd rather tell you exactly what it means than let the word do more work than it should.
Who's behind it
Pompla is built in New Delhi by Nimit Sharma, its founder. Questions, feedback or a trip you think should be on here — get in touch.
